Learn how to get started with the Remote SDR Platform
New User Guide
Welcome to the Remote SDR Platform! This guide will help you get started with our platform and access remote SDR devices for your research and experiments.
- Navigate to the Registration page
- Fill in your details including name, email, and password
- Select your organization or institution
- Submit your registration
- Wait for approval from administrators
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to the Devices page
- Browse available SDR devices
- Click on a device to view detailed specifications
- Check device availability in the calendar
- Navigate to the Schedule page
- Select your preferred device
- Choose available time slots
- Provide a brief description of your experiment
- Confirm your reservation
- When your reservation time begins, go to the Dashboard
- Find your active reservation
- Click "Connect" to access the device
- Use the remote desktop interface to control the device
- Save and export your data when finished
Important Note
System Requirements
The Remote SDR Platform is a web-based application that works in modern browsers. Here are the recommended system requirements:
- Google Chrome (version 90+)
- Mozilla Firefox (version 88+)
- Microsoft Edge (version 90+)
- Safari (version 14+)
WebRTC support is required for remote desktop functionality.
- Processor: Dual-core 2GHz or better
- Memory: 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended)
- Internet: 5 Mbps download/upload minimum
- Display: 1366x768 resolution or higher
Higher bandwidth is recommended for real-time signal processing.
